The Contender, an archival silhouette that first appeared in 1995, was born out of the design vision of founder Rhiachi Mizuno. Its lightweight, stable build makes it perfect for entry level runners in search of a well-cushioned shoe for on or off road excursions. The classic '90s look and combination of canvas mesh and premium suede produces a balance of casualness and athleticism. The colour scheme is mostly tonal with light contrasts and subtle accents, as well as contrasting sole elements.
